Where do we deliver to?

We do not deliver to the Highlands, Islands and more remote parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight or other regions offshore from the mainland United Kingdom. If you are situated within these areas (outlined below) or are from outside the UK, please call us on 01942 386 830 to obtain a bespoke delivery quotation.

Our stillages are heavy and bulky; therefore, we use a specialised transportation company to fulfil your order. We can deliver to most of the UK for a single transportation cost of £45.00+vat per online order (NOT per item). Some postcodes are excluded from this offer – please see details below.

What are our standard delivery costs?

Express delivery can be arranged. If you need your product sooner, please contact us on 01942 386 830 for a bespoke delivery quotation and estimated delivery date.

When will your order be delivered?

We aim to dispatch items ordered online between 14 and 21 working days (excluding any Bank Holidays) from the date your order is placed and the order total paid in full.

We will contact you 24-48hrs before your order is due to be delivered to confirm your delivery date. If any delay is anticipated which will affect the delivery date of your order, we will notify you as soon as possible.

Prospect Engineering Limited, trading as Metal Stillages Company, cannot be held responsible for the late or non-delivery of any item where this is due to circumstances outside of our control.

Who handles deliveries?

You should arrange for someone to be present at your premises to receive and sign for the delivery on the expected delivery date. Where a delivery cannot be completed, your order will be returned to our factory. You are liable for the additional costs associated with any attempted redelivery.

Our products are bulky and our delivery company requires direct road access to your delivery address. The delivery company will not move products, whether by hand, up stairs, by fork lift or by any other method.

You are responsible for moving the product from the delivery vehicle and into the delivery address, and you must ensure that you have sufficient manpower or equipment to handle your product(s).

Tracking your delivery

If you require an update on the delivery status of your order, please call us on 01942 386 830 the day after you expected to receive your delivery. We will make enquiries with our delivery company and update you as soon as possible.

What to do if a product from your order is missing or damaged

We work hard to ensure that all of our products are finished, quality-checked and delivered to a high standard. In the event that any item is missing from your order, or where a product is damaged on arrival as a result of its transit, please call us on 01942 386 830 to discuss with our team and, where agreed, arrange for the delivery of a replacement.
